Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the US-Number service operated by Number API LLC ("we", "us"), a company incorporated under the laws of the United States, located at 1800 S 22nd Ave Ste 120, #566, Bozeman, Montana 59718, United States. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service description

US-Number provides businesses with US phone numbers for two-way SMS communication with their clients and partners. The service is intended for professional business communication only.

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use the service only for legitimate business purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws, including telecommunications and messaging regulations. You are responsible for the content of messages sent from your account and for obtaining any required consent from message recipients.

Detailed guidance is provided in our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

3. Prohibited activities

You must not use the service for, or in connection with, any of the following:

  • Unsolicited bulk messaging or spam.
  • Fraud, scams, or deceptive schemes.
  • Impersonation of any person, business, or government entity.
  • Harassment, threats, or abuse of any individual.
  • Any illegal activity or activity that violates third-party rights.
  • Any attempt to circumvent, disrupt, or abuse telecom systems or carrier policies.

4. No guarantee of delivery

SMS delivery depends on multiple third-party carriers and networks. We do not guarantee that any particular message will be delivered, delivered in a particular timeframe, or delivered without modification. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Certain third-party platforms and online services may block or reject messages originating from dedicated long-code numbers. US-Number makes no representation that messages will be accepted by any third-party platform. In particular, use of the service for receiving sign-in codes, account-recovery links, or other identity-related messages from third-party platforms is not guaranteed and may not function as expected due to restrictions imposed by those platforms, which are outside our control.

5. Account suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy, if required to comply with law or carrier requirements, or to protect the integrity of the service.

6. Payment terms

Fees, billing cycles, and any applicable usage charges are presented at the point of purchase or in your account dashboard. Payments are processed by third-party providers. Charges are non-refundable except where required by law or as expressly stated.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Number API LLC and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Montana, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Montana, United States.
